The power plugs used by BMW motorcylces go by several different names:

• Powerlet

• Hella

• DIN

• John Deere

Polarity:

Similar to regular car outlets, the center is 12V+ and the outside is ground.

Styles:

Powerlet: Powerlet is the name brand in this field. They sell both straight and right angle (a.k.a. low profile) plugs:

Generic: Many places sell plugs sold as Hella plugs. I like these with nice screw in terminals:
