If your choke cable has stretched over the years then you may want to tighten it. It's very easy to do. The end of the choke cable that is installed at the rear of the throttle bodies is threaded with a locknut on it.

To adjust the choke cable, loosen the locknut. Turn the threaded cable end counterclockwise to tighten the cable, clockwise to loosen it. Then retighten the locknut after adjusting.

Although the lever is labeled "Choke" it really isn't a choke. Since K bikes are fuel injected they do not have a choke. It's a throttle advance.
