The linked PDF below is a fairly comprehensive checklist for going over a K bike to make sure that all is in order.  Though fairly comprehensive, it does not include some more maintenance intensive tasks like checking valve clearances, splines, checking drive shaft U-joints, clutch plate wear, spark plug condition, etc...

You may find it useful for the following:

- Inspecting a K bike prior to purchase

- Going over a "new-to-me" K bike

- Before going on a long ride

- Prior to the first ride of the season

- A periodic onceover for peace of mind when riding
